That was my theory for why they made the elite, a bigger HDD means people can download more. if they put in the hd-dvd player people might buy hd-dvd instead of paying microsoft to download from the live marketplace... i do both, but its nice to rent a movie or catch up on a tv show without having to go to a video store.
i want that pc...
greatest post ever...
but i had heard rumors... of course, with nothing officially announced no one really knows..
not that it matters to me, i have a 360... i had just seen on a ps3 website (not the official one) that KOTOR 3 was coming to ps...
i know no more than i did before... and i thought KOTOR 3 was going to be on the ps3 as well...
i'm a nerd, i work for a software development company and play lots of video games and post on game websites... so... what, exactly, does that make you? a bully? a dork? a dweeb? or just a mindless sony fanboy?
if you come to a gaming website... and then post there... you are already a nerd... thus making your insult null
QED
because you are taking a article serious that got the technology wrong? This article is silly and i can't believe we let articles get posted with glaring errors in them.
HD-DVD is not red laser based... its blue laser...

If the wii wins by a large margin the level of progress that goes into the technology of gaming consoles will shrink... It also will drive away a lot of those great games that we love... replaced by minigames (meh)
if this happens I'll go back to PC gaming only--i can afford this too, finally have a real career ;-)
These are dark... they have a sinister look to them while the halo 3 beta look almost happy. I predict that the halo 3 single player will set a high bar and be darker than the previous halos...
firstly, no one "doesn't" cuss on xbox live... secondly, if "red" got banned from xbox live, how did he send the first friend a message over xbox live?
not only that, its selling really really well on the 360...

its become a viable option for developers now.
the style is similar to microsoft surface, but the iphone is still unitouch, so it only reads one surface press at a time. microsoft surface is multitouch and thus allows for many inputs or varying shapes and sizes to be registered, thus making it more groundbreaking. The iphone does not revolutionalize anything, it just takes the idea of a smart phone and makes it "pretty"
"microsoft buys namco!"
now that would just be crrrraaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzy
same drive space as a nano maybe, but a much bigger screen, plus wifi/phone... lcd screens and wifi eat up battery power like no ones business, and if its got blue tooth then its gonna be even worse..
if they get a good battery in there it will last a while, but don't expect nano battery life.
i wouldn't be totally against it if it came standard... i just don't want to have to buy more periferals...
but in the interview it sounded more like a vision cam thing (pick up an actual tennis racket)
it doesn't always matter if a disk can hold the bonuses. There are bluray movies out there that when you buy the "special" edition you get two discs... why? because its cheaper to include the "normal" disc and put in a bonus disc than to reformat the original disc to include extra data...
